Ur-Roles — Symbol Layer
The Symbol Layer framework, based on instantiated Role Primitives, is intended as a gesture toward a conceptual vector for grounding and optimizing AI–human relations at both the UX level and potentially at more fundamental technical and semantic layers. However, certain classic human social roles sit higher on the archetypal, liminal, ethereal, and technical stack.
Here, we refer to these roles as Ur-Roles. They are described under their names here in brief outline form rather than through detailed specifications in order to respect their higher-order depth and complexity, as well as the limited capacity of this author, potentially the capability scope of current models, and applied epistemology and ontology to here encapsulate these heights within the Symbol Layer role primitive framework and the human self, role, and personhood stack.
